Much like “Monkey Man,” this film resonated deeply with me. Perhaps it’s the intense confrontation with a wannabe fascist dictator or the underlying fear for my own country that made it so impactful, but this movie truly shook me to my core. It’s far more profound than the trailers or even the initial premise might suggest. Be warned: this film has the potential to hurt you if you’re not adequately prepared. If you believe in genuine love and are easily triggered, approach with caution.

Don’t get me wrong, there are moments of humor that managed to elicit laughter, but I found myself shedding more tears. This film offers a fresh twist on a familiar concept. While it’s not precisely a body swap narrative, it certainly shares some of those engaging tropes. I hesitate to disclose too much because it’s truly an experience that deserves to be watched firsthand. To my surprise, it turned out to be much better than I initially expected.
