I really wish they had infused a little more humor into this film. The premise is solid, and the ending ultimately delivers, but the journey to get there just didn’t hold my attention. Ryan Reynolds’s angry persona felt a bit overdone and left me wanting more in terms of engagement. Once the conclusion unraveled, I could appreciate the setup, but it definitely felt different from what was promised in the ads.

John Krasinski has a lot of talent, but unfortunately, this one didn’t quite hit the mark for me. They saved all the emotional depth for the final moments, which felt a bit off. If only they had sprinkled more laughs throughout the movie and balanced it with heart, it could have easily been an 8/10. As it stands, it just missed the mark.
