I recently watched this movie, and I found it to be kind of charming! It’s got a good dose of humor and some genuinely memorable moments. Scarlett Johansson absolutely shines—she brings so much energy and charisma to the film that you can’t help but enjoy her performance. As for Channing Tatum, he’s decent, but I feel like he struggles to fit into these more serious roles. It’s a bit like casting Mark Wahlberg as a straight-laced engineer; it just doesn’t quite gel.
I understand that this is a comedy playing with alternate realities, but I have a bit of a pet peeve when movies distort history. It can really throw people off and feed into the swirling vortex of conspiracy theories we already grapple with—like the myths surrounding the moon landing, which, for the record, occurred six times and is well documented!
All in all, while it’s entertaining, it may not be worth a watch, it feels like a one-and-done kind of film for me. I might forget about it after a while, but hey, you should see it and judge for yourself!
